Empower The Community is a Non-profit-organization headquartered in Iringa -Tanzania, it was established in 2019 and got registered on February 2022 under the Ministry of Health, community development, gender, elderly and child under NGO Act 2002 with the registration number 00NGO/R/2542 to operate it’s activities at national level.

Empower The Community complements government efforts by contributing to the implementation of various policies and hence brings sustainable development to the community. Our primary focus is on meaningfully community engagement. We aim at empowering all groups in the community including by giving them proper guidance and skills in finding and suggesting possible solutions to the challenges that exist in the community. The formation of Empower The Community was inspired by among other factors; availability of energetic and creative young leaders who are underutilised, understanding of community needs, understanding of the potential of community engagement when it comes to bringing community led change
